I saw this gender analyzer site, and started running my blog and all of my friends blogs through it, knowing statistically at some point it would give me the opportunity to make fun of someone.

Unfortunately for you, you’re it.

You’d think with all the bacon salt, toilet seat up vs. down, and leadership stuff, it would’ve been more obvious that you are, in fact, a man.

But today, in about 45 minutes, I am leaving to drive to Trampa to help my bff Tabby Bottoms move to a nearby city. I am up early and it didn’t kill me!

So, Sunday after a SPECTACULAR church service, my friend Emma and I jumped in the car and headed for Miami. It’s about a 4 hour drive. The reason, you ask? MIKA! The hottest new artist to not quite yet blow up in the United States! Seriously, if you’re sick of cookie cutter music on the radio, and you like happy music loaded with hidden meanings and thoughts about life, you’ll love Mika. We had a marvelous time at the concert…the venue was gorgeous. We were literally like 2 feet from the stage. Mika really performed his tush off (I have pics to prove it) and we were all covered in sweat and danced-out by the time we left. AND we had porn-star parking (pardon the expression) right outside the doors, so it was pretty much the best night I could’ve asked for. Here are pictures!

Back to the church service…check out the 11 AM crowd…they were really into the worship.

Basically, it was a great day.

I just got an e-mail from Lakeland Electric….is anyone else’s electric bill going up like CRAZY?! I mean, I knew it was coming, but sheesh. Double sheesh, even. I think it’s ridiculous. I’m so flabbergasted that I couldn’t spell ridiculous. It took me 3 attempts and a spell check to get it right.

Our economy is so screwed up right now. I’m not just whining about my situation…all of my friends are in the same boat. We have college degrees and full time jobs, but we still can’t afford to support ourselves. It’s just frustrating. Or challenging, I guess. Maybe we are just bad with money and I’m in denial. Maybe I’m just being dramatic.

Testing testing 1-2-3…

My boss suggested that I jump on the blog bandwagon, so here I am.
Actually, I’ve been “here” for quite some time…on the wagon, I mean. I’ve been blogging on myspace for almost 2 years. But, as my boss put it, “No one takes you seriously on myspace.” So I decided to move up to a big girl blog site. Thank you wordpress.

That being said, I thought I’d tell you a little bit about my morning.

My husband works for a grocery store (where shopping is a pleasure) and
sometimes he comes home with some very weird things. Like koala yummies. Remember those from back in the day? The little cookie koalas with a cream filling.

Well they’re back, and he got so excited when he saw them that he bought a box and brought them home…but he bought strawberry. Can you say GROSS? We both hate them.

So my dear friend Emma came over last night and I fed her some koala yummies and she liked them. I made her take them home. I said, ” I don’t care what you do with them, just get them out of my apartment.”

She took them and left.

So I’m leaving to go to work this morning: I grab my stuff, kiss Mike, open the door and:
