After finishing out 18 years in the small town of Auburndale, Fl., Emily moved up to the big city of Lakeland to get her degree at Florida Southern College. After starting out as a vocal performance major, she found herself called to communicate. In 2006 after 3 years at FSC, she walked away with a BA in Communication with an emphasis in Advertising.
While working several jobs through college, Emily had the good fortune to be asked to come on part time at RidgePoint Church during her junior year at school. She was creating there for 5 years, producing services on Sundays, fixing stuff, creating systems, and in general having a pretty rockin’ time.
Recently she accepted a new job in retail management, then 3 months later decided she was absolutely insane and promptly put in her 2 weeks. She’s excited about the new career opportunities awaiting her, and she still volunteers at RPC.
