I asked our interpreter how to say "cheeseburger plain" in Spanish. She told me, I practiced a minute or two, walked up to the cashier and horribly said it in Spanish. She looked right at me and said, "so you want a cheeseburger plain" in perfect English. I stood there shocked and said yes. Humiliation number 312 on that trip! Reminds me of when I was in Honduras.
