So if my blog stats are any indication, you’re all looking for a Sunday Rewind on Timm’s blog and then checking mine to see if I did it instead. I’m calling dibs and going for it.
Our band is good even when it’s small. People go MIA this time of year. Kids are sick, people are dying, etc. But Justin is awesome and so is everyone else, and the band was great. (P.S. I’m working on getting some video from Night of Worship up for your viewing pleasure).
Ornaments is going to be awesome. To celebrate our first Sunday we gave away Ornaments that we HAND MADE and they are so pretty. Now everyone who goes to RPC has an ornament for their Christmas Tree (no, we don’t think they’re evil). Don’t worry, they’ll be available all month.
The shirts were a hit. We gave everyone who attends RPC a t-shirt to wear the day after Thanksgiving advertising ‘Ornaments’ and the public loved it. People who worked at the stores were asking questions and they loved the idea. Very cool. I’m glad it was a good investment.
You gotta start with God’s glory before you get to your story. Don’t let your Christmas fall flat (remember the tree?) If you focus on yourself Christmas just isn’t special. You need a miracle. Your miracle is this: God came near. You can listen to the sermon here.
